Late last fall, I had an engagement session with one of my 2013 couples! We did the session at Wallingfords in Auburn, and we had such a great time 🙂 It was the perfect weather for a photo session, and these two just absolutely rocked it! Keeping this one short and sweet so we can get to the good stuff – the photos!!
These two helped out so much! Not only were they live entertainment, they were also excellent sun blockers!!
Love me some sun flare!
Heather & Alan, you two are so beautiful, and I’m so happy you’ve trusted me with your big day! I can’t wait to capture all the special moments on your big day!!
At the end of January, I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting with a photographer who I’ve been working with on various things over the past year or so. Unfortunately, this was her last wedding that she’ll be shooting at 😦
I went to high school with Megan and Eric, although we were in different grade (thus, different worlds), so shooting at this wedding definitely felt like a reunion 🙂 Their winter wedding was simply stunning! The centerpieces were gorgeous, the cupcakes and cakes were beautiful, and the whole set up was just very intimate and romantic – especially with a fire going in the fireplace! Megan and Eric got married at Bangor Baptist Church, and had their reception at the Bangor Motor Inn Banquet & Conference Center.
Well, let’s get to the good stuff – the photos!
The cupcakes were courtesy of Cupcakes by Taylor
Such a beautiful dress!
I LOVED the lace and buttons!
It’s not a wedding without some ring shots!
Tiara or no tiara? That IS the question!
Love this moment 🙂
I’m an absolute sucker for sunsets!
These two boys were absolutely adorable! It was so much fun watching them run around!
He reminds me of my nephew so much!
Her speech was so incredibly funny!
Megan & Eric, I wish you many many years of happiness and love! Congratulations!!
Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing an engagement session of a 2013 bride and groom!! I’ve known Jen for pretty much as long as I can remember. Our parents have been friends for a very long time, and I can recall a ton of visits to their place! We always had a ton of fun, so it’s no surprise that this e-session was any different! Jen and Jeff are so cute together, and Jeff has the most incredible blue eyes. I didn’t notice how blue they were until halfway through the session, and they literally stopped me dead in my tracks!
We did our session at the Camden Ampitheatre, and got some photos down by the water, and by the Public Library. I’ve photographed at the ampitheatre in the past, but I did not notice the waterfall-type area until this trip! We were all walking down closer to the water and to get to some benches, when we could hear this roar of water. Me and Jen were trying to figure out where it was coming from, and since the sun was blinding us, we could not see water anywhere! As soon as the sun was behind a building, we saw the water, and it was so gorgeous! Turns out, Jeff had seen it the whole time we were walking towards it – he had sunglasses on! I was so excited to take advantage of this water! I absolutely love how this session turned out, and how I was able to use the sun to my advantage!
Take a look!!
It’s not a proper engagement session without some close-up ring shots! I’m very pleased with these, as I rented a 105mm lens and it was my first time using it!! This lens is totally going on my wish list for camera gear 🙂
Jeff picked out such a beautiful ring!! Also, I love those mittens! They’re handmade! Also, Jen was super sweet and let me wear them while I was taking photos, it was so cold!!
This photo does NOT do his blue eyes any justice!
See what I mean about the sunlight?! This photo also the got the most likes I’ve ever gotten on a facebook photo to date!
Easily my favorite couples photo to date!!
Be still my heart!
Jen & Jeff, thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer! I had such a blast with you two and I can’t wait for your wedding!!
